Cronografia, Saverio Todaro
20.12.2024 – 31.01.2025
Torrione Passari, Molfetta
Saverio Todaro’s Cronofagia places us in front of the mirror of the digital age: the reflection focuses on the thinning of time and privacy, where social media become new banners of power. Among works combining irony and critique, Power (Self Portrait) stands out—a button inviting us to “restart”. But can we really turn everything off and start again? The exhibition raises the question of unplugging… but not from ourselves.

The New Art Scene
27.11.2024 – 14.02.2025
Archivio Paul Thorel, Napoli
Tired of the same old blurry photos of your grandma’s cat and your cousin’s newborn? The New Art Scene juxtaposes the photographs of Paul Thorel and Ugo Mulas, symbols of two eras of photography: analogue and digital. Between iconic portraits of artists such as Leonard Cohen and Nan Goldin, and self-portraits expressing their vision of art, the exhibition explores how photography is not just a tool for documentation but a powerful artistic medium.
Digital Artist in Residence (D.A.I.R.)
DAL 20.01.2025
Centro Digitale – ARCHiVe, Fondazione Giorgio Cini Venezia
The splendid and “decadent” Venice surprises us with the artist residency programme of the Fondazione Giorgio Cini, dedicated to the meeting point between art, new technologies, and digital archives. The project invites artists and creatives to explore the archives of the Centro Digitale – ARCHiVe, fostering new narratives that redefine the boundary between tradition and innovation. The pilot edition of 2024 featured Hiroaki Yamane, Mersid Ramičević, and Matteo Rattini, who developed innovative projects ranging from research on digital authenticity to creative reinterpretations of operatic works, and a film inspired by Venetian sculpture. Let’s get digital!
